The town offers a wide range of gastronomic possibilities, from the traditional stews of its eateries to the most innovative cuisine served in its newer restaurants. Meats and cold cuts and sausages, in general, and some popular recipes – such as patatas meneás, cabrito cochifrito, tencas – are the base of the  traditional dishes served in Ledesma, which are, of course, part of the varied Salamanca food.
